Katherine grew up in Belleville, Illinois and is a life-long resident of the St. Louis Metro Area. She graduated cum laude from McKendree University in 2010 and attended Southern Illinois University School of Law, graduating with her J.D. in 2013.

Prior to joining Becker, Hoerner, Thompson & Ysursa, Katherine was a 711-licensed law student, practicing with the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office in the felony division, earning courtroom experience and aiding in grand jury presentations. Following law school, Katherine became a certified mediator and worked with a non-profit mediation organization to establish the St. Clair County Foreclosure Mediation Program. Katherine worked closely with attorneys, financials lenders, counselors, and homeowners to find resolutions in on-going foreclosure case, helping over thirty different families remain in their homes throughout St. Clair County.

Katherine joined Becker, Hoerner, Thompson & Ysursa in December of 2014 and now focuses her time between municipal and local governmental representation, limited liability company preparation, and general civil litigation.

When not at work, Katherine enjoys hiking, knitting, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
