Robert Samuelson is a graduate of Althoff Catholic High school and Belleville native. Rob attended Saint Louis University for his undergraduate degree, where he spent his time volunteering, working, and enjoying his time in the St. Louis and Southern Illinois community. After graduating cum laude, Rob continued his dedication to the greater St. Louis Area by attending Saint Louis University’s School of Law. As a law student, he clerked for a small general practice law firm in St. Louis and the Federal Public Defenders of Eastern Missouri. Rob was also an active member of the Public Interest Law Group, which he still supports at their annual Silent Auction.

Graduating from SLU Law and passing the Missouri Bar in 2013, Rob began his legal career working at a local law firm concentrating in family law. He went on to pass the Illinois Bar in early 2014, and spent a year as a volunteer at the United States District Court for Southern Illinois working under The Honorable Judge Nancy Rosenstengel. Rob utilizes his experience as both an advocate and legal researcher and writer for the Federal Court to confidently represent his clients. Rob has represented clients in a variety of civil litigation matters handling both defense and plaintiff cases.

Rob is a member of the St. Clair County Bar Association, East St. Louis Bar Association, and Illinois Bar Association. Rob is also currently serving as a Coach for the Ladue High School Mock Trial Team. He enjoys spending time at Forest Park, staying active, and grilling for friends and family.
